About Us
Our Mission
Venus's Angels is committed to creating a supportive community for young adults and children affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Our mission is to connect these individuals and their families with essential resources and assistance, empowering them to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Meet Our MS Warrior
Over the past year, Venus Angels has emerged as a pillar of hope and support, championing the cause of families throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
We are dedicated to offering a range of services tailored to the distinct needs of our MS community.
Our goal is to forge partnerships with local communities and businesses to reinvest in all of our MS Warriors.
Join us in our mission to provide a transformative experience for children and young adults through assistance with early detection, nutritional advice, mental health support, and physical therapy, all while fostering education and raising awareness.
Venus’s Angels was born out of a deeply personal experience. This is our founder’s daughter Patience Henderson who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at the beginning of 2023, igniting a passion for her to help others facing similar challenges.
Patience is a MS Warrior of remitting MS. She has a 2-year-old son who is her biggest inspiration to continue to fight for MS. She is a dancer with goals and dreams of owning her own dance studio, with no intentions on allowing MS to stand in her way.

What is The Need
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, immune-mediated neurodegenerative disease affecting the central nervous system. Traditionally, MS onset occurs between 20 and 30 years of age; however, it has been increasingly identified in children in recent years. Pediatric-onset multiple sclerosis (POMS), defined as MS beginning before 18 years of age, comprises 2 to 10% of all MS cases, with the highest incidence rates observed between 13 and 16 years of age.
The youngest reported case of MS was diagnosed in a two-year-old child. Nonetheless, most children with MS are diagnosed in their early teens, and diagnoses before age 10 are exceedingly rare.
While MS diagnoses typically occur between 20 and 40 years of age, there is a growing prevalence in children and adolescents. Prior to 2001, MS diagnoses in children were uncommon, but subsequent changes in the disease’s definition have permitted diagnoses in patients younger than 15.
